In its first edition, the Town of Stanstead and Madame Tournesol invite you to not cut your lawn during the month of May = #dandelionchallenge
Early in the season, flowers are rather rare and these precious dandelions help bees while they wait for other nourishing flowers develop. Attracting pollinators also increases the chances of a good harvest in our fruit trees and vegetable garden . Going from flower to flower, bees and other insects transport pollen, increasing fruit production. So this challenge is full of advantages!
