Contracts involving expenditures of more than $2,000 concluded with a single contractor when the contract amounts are over $25,000

As of June 16, 2017, article 477.6 of the Loi sur les cités et villes (L.R.Q. c. C-19) requires the publication on the Town of Stanstead website, a list of contracts including expenditures of more than $2,000 over the course of the last financial exercise to a single contractor when all contracts total more than $25,000.

The Town must publish this list no later than January 31 each year for the preceding financial exercise. Below, you will find a summary explanation for each year.

Municipal Taxes

Tax statements are sent at the beginning of February each year.

2023 Payments

If the total amount of your property taxes is less than $300, you must pay the entire amount in one payment due on March 17, 2023

Other financial institutions may offer municipal tax payments via their Internet portal.

At a financial institution

Payments may be made at the service desk or ATM at most Desjardins or banking institutions. You must have a copy of your tax statement in hand.

By credit card

At Town Hall

Payments may be made in person:
• By cheque
• By debit card
• In cash
• By Visa or Mastercard

By mail

Prepare your cheques to the order of « Town of Stanstead » and mail them to the following address or drop them in the black mailbox outside Town Hall:
