Citizens will be able to vote <br>to elect a mayor and six councilors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Good to know<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Advance voting : <\/strong>Sunday, October 26, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Voting day : <\/strong>Sunday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can vote?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To vote in the municipal election, you must meet certain conditions. These include :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>18 years of age on polling day;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a Canadian citizen;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be registered on the voters&#8217; list.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electionsquebec.qc.ca\/voter\/verifier-son-inscription-a-la-liste-electorale\/\">Check your electoral roll<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You must also meet one of the following two conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be domiciled in the municipality and, for at least six months, in Qu\u00e9bec;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be, for at least 45 days, the owner of a building or the occupant of a business establishment located on the territory of the municipality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For a complete list of requirements, visit the \u00c9lections Qu\u00e9bec website.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electionsquebec.qc.ca\/en\/vote\/can-you-vote\/\" title=\"\">\u00c9lections Qu\u00e9bec website<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can run for a board position?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To vote in the municipal election, you must meet certain conditions. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any person who is entitled to be registered on the municipality&#8217;s electoral list;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any person who has resided continuously or otherwise on the territory of the municipality for at least 12 months as of September 1 of the calendar year in which the general election is to be held.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interested in the challenge?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a look at our&nbsp;<strong>application package<\/strong>.
